Community Relationships

For the PAVE MDC, community engagement is a collaborative, reciprocal process that recognizes, respects, and values the knowledge, perspective, and resources shared among partners, and it builds trusting relationships that facilitate individuals, groups, and organizations involved to understand and collaboratively address issues of concern.

The PAVE MDC has established relationships with existing key domestic and international stakeholders and partners in order to:

1) Promote inclusion of all populations in clinical trial design and justify any exclusions;

2) Advocate for innovative, efficient, and timely clinical trials; and

3) Enhance community cure literacy to guide the design and conduct of future clinical trials in pediatric populations
